Twoflower Hand Color
The Colour of Magic (or The Color of Magic, if you insist on being from this side of the pond...) is the first "proper" Discworld novel I read. Twoflower, the indomitably optimistic tourist still occupies a very warm, fuzzy place in my heart.
Done in pencils and then colored with (what else, a picture imp?) colored pencils from an FAO Schwartz art set. Twoflower was cleaned up only a very little in The Gimp, rescued from the odd smudge or stray mark. Luckily, the scanner didn't eat up the colored pencils too badly, though the original is slightly more pleasing to the eye. Based heavily upon the wonderful Kidby drawings in The Art of Discworld.
